Privacy Policy
Effective July 8, 2026 · Last updated August 18, 2026
Certified Loads LLC ("Certified Loads", "we", "us", "our") operates the CertifiedLoads platform at certifiedloads.com, the CertifiedLoads mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to visitors to our websites and to the shippers, brokers, carriers, dealers, and drivers who use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account and contact information
When a shipper, broker, carrier, dealer, or driver signs up, we collect the information needed to create and verify the account. This typically includes name, business name, business address, work phone number, work email, and role within the organization.
Verification and operational data
CertifiedLoads is a transport security platform. To operate the Service, we collect and process data related to loads, carriers, drivers, and pickup events. This may include load reference numbers, carrier authority details, driver identity fields provided by an authorized administrator, and timestamps and status records associated with the pickup and delivery flow.
Device and usage data
When you use the Service, we collect basic technical information such as IP address, device type and identifiers, operating system, browser or app version, and activity and diagnostic logs used to maintain service integrity, secure accounts, and troubleshoot issues.
Location data
Where the Service includes location features, and only with the permissions you grant on your device, we may process location information associated with a pickup or delivery event to support the security and documentation purposes of the Service. You can control location permissions through your device settings, though disabling them may limit features that depend on location.
Information you submit
We collect any information you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request an assessment or early access, submit an investor or partnership inquiry, or respond to a customer support request.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the CertifiedLoads platform.
- To verify carriers, drivers, and pickup events against loads assigned to them by authorized operators.
- To communicate with you about your account, service updates, security notices, and inquiries you send us.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, impersonation, and misuse of the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements.
- To create aggregated and de-identified data used for security research, fraud-trend analysis, industry benchmarks, and improving protection across the platform. This data no longer identifies you, your business, or any individual, and we do not attempt to re-identify it.
We do not use the personal information you provide to the Service to train third-party advertising or marketing models, and we do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our websites and applications use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, maintain security, and understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Service and a limited set of analytics tools to measure performance.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of most analytics through your browser or the tool provider's controls. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. We share information only with the parties who need it to operate a load on the platform or as described below.
- Transaction participants. When a load is moved through CertifiedLoads, limited verification data is shared with the shipper, broker, carrier, and driver involved in that specific load.
- Service providers. We use vetted vendors for hosting, identity and authority checks, SMS and email delivery, and analytics, bound by contract to use the information only to perform services for us.
- Aggregated and de-identified information. We may create and share statistics, benchmarks, and fraud-trend insights built from information that has been aggregated or de-identified so it can no longer reasonably identify you, your business, or any individual. We maintain and use de-identified data only in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it.
- Network protection. To protect everyone who uses the platform, we may use and share security signals, such as indicators of attempted fraud or impersonation, with affected participants and, where appropriate, with law enforcement or recognized industry anti-fraud organizations. These disclosures are limited to what is needed to prevent, detect, or investigate fraud and do not include your confidential business terms.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to comply with valid legal process, to protect our rights and the rights of others, or to investigate suspected fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred subject to this Privacy Policy and with appropriate notice and protections.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal and operational data for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Verification and pickup records are retained as part of the evidence the platform is designed to produce and may be kept for the life of the associated account and for a reasonable period after. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
6. SMS / Text Messaging
CertifiedLoads sends operational SMS messages to verified users (carriers, dispatchers, and drivers) to support load coordination and account security. These messages include one-time login verification codes, load tender notifications, pickup and delivery status updates, driver assignment alerts, and other time-sensitive operational notices.
How users opt in
Phone numbers are added to the platform by an authorized administrator, the shipper, broker, or carrier dispatcher, when a user account or driver profile is created. By providing a phone number to CertifiedLoads, the account holder represents that they have authority to add that number and consents to receive operational SMS from CertifiedLoads at that number.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on load activity. A driver may receive several messages per active load and zero messages on inactive days. Carrier dispatchers may receive messages each time a load is tendered to their company.
Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. CertifiedLoads does not charge to send or receive SMS.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any CertifiedLoads SMS to stop receiving messages from that campaign. Reply HELP for assistance, or email support@certifiedloads.com. After you opt out, we will send a single confirmation message and will not send further messages from that campaign unless you opt back in.
Mobile information sharing
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers may be processed by our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the operational messages described in this section. No mobile opt-in data is sold, rented, or shared with marketers under any circumstance.
No marketing SMS
CertifiedLoads does not send promotional or marketing SMS. All messages sent through the platform are operational and tied to an active user account, load, or security event.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls, and activity logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the applicable authorities as required by law and without undue delay. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@certifiedloads.com.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising (we do not do either), and to limit certain processing. You may also object to or ask us to restrict certain processing.
How to exercise your rights
Send requests to support@certifiedloads.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
US state privacy rights
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the rights described above under those laws. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect, but you may still exercise your other rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will inform you of the outcome and, where applicable, how to contact your state attorney general.
Retention of rights-limited data
Some data may be retained where we have a legal basis to keep it, including for fraud prevention, security, and regulatory compliance.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that we do not control. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy terms of any third-party service you use.
10. Children
The CertifiedLoads platform is a business to business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Users
Certified Loads is based in the United States and the Service is intended for use in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States under US law, which may differ from the laws of your location.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective" and "Last updated" dates at the top of this page reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the platform, and your continued use of the Service after the update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
